Reports from ESPN and The Athletic confirm that the Team USA Basketball roster for the Paris Olympics is nearly finalized, with Stephen Curry set to make his Olympic debut.

Grant Hill, the team’s managing director, has solidified 11 out of 12 roster spots, with one position remaining to be filled after the upcoming July training camp.

Among the notable players on the roster are LeBron James and Anthony Davis from the Los Angeles Lakers, and Kevin Durant and Devin Booker from the Phoenix Suns. James will be returning to the Olympics after last competing in 2012, marking his fourth appearance.

The roster also includes Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday of the Boston Celtics, Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat, and Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers, as per the reports.

Curry, who missed out on the 2012 London Games and declined opportunities in 2016 and 2021, will finally represent the USA in the Olympics. His absence from the 2012 team occurred before his remarkable ascent as one of the premier shooters in NBA history.

Steve Kerr, the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, will lead Team USA, supported by Tyronn Lue from the Los Angeles Clippers, Erik Spoelstra from the Miami Heat, and Mark Few from Gonzaga.

Being a three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and a three-time All-Star, Gobert maintained an average of 14.0 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks in 76 games during the regular season.

Standing tall at 7-foot-1, the 31-year-old Gobert has an overall average of 12.7 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks throughout his career in 757 games for the Utah Jazz (2013-22) and the Timberwolves.
