“Hoosier Nation, c’est parti,” the native of Mali wrote on social media, using the French phrase for “let’s go.”
Standing tall at 7 feet, Ballo received accolades as a member of the All-Pac-12 first team and all-defensive team after showcasing his skills with 12.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 36 games as a starter for the Wildcats.
Having transferred from Gonzaga to Arizona before the 2021-22 season, Ballo has maintained solid averages of 11.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game across 108 appearances, with 71 starts.

Former Oklahoma F John Hugley IV is taking his talents to Xavier
Hugley showcased his skills with 8.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in 24 appearances last season, with just one start. His journey began at Pitt, where he averaged 12.2 points and 6.6 rebounds over 47 games, 38 of which he started, before heading to Norman.
Despite being a senior, Hugley has two years of eligibility remaining, as reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer. His brief 2022-23 season saw limited action at Pitt due to mental health challenges and a preseason injury.
