The NBA G League announced that Lindsey Harding, the Head Coach of Stockton Kings, has been crowned as the Coach of the Year for the 2023-24 NBA G League season.

Chosen through votes from coaches and managers in the NBA G League, Harding stands as the pioneer head coach in Stockton Kings‘ history to claim this annual accolade. This achievement also marks a significant milestone as she becomes the first woman and woman of color ever to receive this esteemed recognition.

During her first season leading Stockton Kings, Harding steered the team to the top spot in the G League standings with an impressive record of 24-10. Under Harding’s guidance, Stockton dominated the Western Conference, securing the top seed and marking their third playoff appearance in the history of Stockton Kings.

Standing out among the league’s best, the Stockton Kings excelled in three-point shooting percentage, leading the NBA G League with 38.3%. They also ranked third in field goal percentage at 48.5% and seventh in assists per game with 26.9.

The prestigious Dennis Johnson Trophy will be awarded to Harding in a pregame ceremony at Adventist Health Arena, presented by NBA G League President Shareef Abdur-Rahim before Thursday’s semifinal match at 7 pm PT.
