The Golden State Warriors secured a 137-116 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in San Francisco as Jonathan Kuminga led the charge with 26 points. The Warriors capitalized on a 22-0 run between the second and third quarters to surge ahead and secure the win.

Klay Thompson delivered 23 points coming off the bench, while Andrew Wiggins contributed 22 points and Stephen Curry added 14 in limited playing time. Draymond Green and Chris Paul both recorded double-doubles to help the Warriors break their three-game losing streak at home.

Draymond Green tallied 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, while Chris Paul notched 12 points and a game-high 14 assists for the winning side.

Memphis relied heavily on three-point attempts during the game, with rookie GG Jackson II sinking seven 3-pointers on his way to a season-best 35 points. Santi Aldama added 27 points with six successful three-pointers, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Grizzlies from suffering their fourth consecutive defeat.

Despite the Grizzlies’ efforts, with 12 three-pointers and nine offensive rebounds, they were unable to match the Warriors, resulting in a tied score of 58-all for the first 22 minutes of play.

Golden State’s dominance was highlighted by two significant scoring spurts that turned the game in their favor.

The first surge came late in the first half, with Kuminga scoring crucial points, Thompson sinking a three-pointer, and Green making an inside basket, leading to a 10-0 run and a halftime lead of 68-58 in favor of the Warriors. Kuminga ended the half with 18 points.

The momentum carried over into the third quarter, with Wiggins scoring seven points, including a three-pointer, in a 12-0 run within the first 2:14 of the period to extend the lead to 22 points.

Efficient shooting from Kuminga, Wiggins, and Trayce Jackson-Davis propelled the Warriors to a 58% field goal percentage. The team connected on 19 of 39 three-point attempts, with Wiggins, Thompson, Kuminga, and Paul contributing significantly from beyond the arc.

The Grizzlies attempted 30 three-pointers in the first half but slowed down in the second half, finishing 18-for-49 (36.7%) from deep. Jaren Jackson Jr. led Memphis with 28 points, and Jake LaRavia added 12 points off the bench. DeJon Jarreau grabbed 10 rebounds, matching his career high, while Aldama recorded nine rebounds and four assists.

Being a three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and a three-time All-Star, Gobert maintained an average of 14.0 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks in 76 games during the regular season.

Standing tall at 7-foot-1, the 31-year-old Gobert has an overall average of 12.7 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks throughout his career in 757 games for the Utah Jazz (2013-22) and the Timberwolves.
