Emerging from the imaginative collaboration between Michael Jordan and Spike Lee, the Jordan Spizike incorporates legendary design elements from various Jordan Brand models, such as the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, and 6.

In this version, the shoe’s “Bordeaux” palette pays tribute to the extensive heritage of Jordan Brand, reflecting the color first showcased in 1992 on the Air Jordan 7.

Most famously featured on the Air Jordan 7, which MJ donned during the 1992 NBA All-Star Game, the rich red tone is prominently displayed across the sneaker’s suede, leather, and mesh build, accentuated by splashes of hyper royal on the lace toggle and eyelets. Ultimately, the signature shade also appears on the iconic elephant print overlays situated on the toe box and heel, along with the rubber outsole.

With the Zoom Vomero 5 now recognized everywhere, Nike has been generous with its seasonal releases of this 2000s-inspired running sneaker. As one of the brand’s most celebrated designs not available through Nike By You, the Zoom Vomero 5 can be found in the perfect colorway if you search diligently.

If you were among the first to embrace these models back in 2019, you might be seeking the more vibrant color selections that have seemingly been overshadowed by more subdued tones and metallic silver accents.

Nike is reviving the past with this “Total Orange” iteration, highlighting the striking shade on the mesh upper, laces, and sole, while the remainder of the Vomero 5’s segmented construction features whites, blacks, and soft greys. It feels as though this design was conceived with 2019 in mind.

The Jordan Brand is reintroducing a fan-favorite AJ4, with speculation surrounding the Air Jordan 4 “Fear” set to make a comeback during this holiday season.

This AJ4 marks its official return 11 years after its initial appearance in 2013 as part of the “Fear Pack,” which also featured the “Fear” Air Jordan 3 (which was re-released in 2023) and “Fear” Air Jordan 5.

The “Fear Pack” drew inspiration from the “Become Legendary” promotional campaign launched in 2008. Featuring notable athletes like Carmelo Anthony, Derek Jeter, Rip Hamilton, Joe Johnson, Ray Allen, and Chris Paul, the campaign coincided with the memorable “Look Me in the Eyes” advertisement.

The upcoming retro will remain true to the original 2013 version, showcasing a blend of black, white, cool grey, and pure platinum throughout the design.

The Air Jordan 4 “Fear” is scheduled for release on November 9, 2024, retailing at $215 through SNKRS and selected retailers.
