This week’s Top 25 high school basketball rankings saw minimal changes, although two teams suffered significant upsets as former No. 15 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) and No. 17 DePaul College Prep (Chicago, Ill.) lost to unranked teams.
St. John Bosco fell five ranks after a narrow 67-66 defeat to Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita), marking its second loss in Trinity League competition this season. An additional defeat could severely impact the program’s prospects for the Open Division.
DePaul College Prep was the only team to exit the rankings following two consecutive one-point losses to in-state rivals.
The upcoming week features a series of exciting matchups, including No. 3 Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) taking on No. 14 Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) and No. 2 Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, Calif.) facing Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) tonight, as well as No. 7 Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) squaring off against AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.) on Thursday. On Friday, No. 1 Columbus (Miami, Fla.) will compete against National Top 10 No. 9 Link Academy (Branson, Mo.), and No. 14 Paul VI will play No. 18 Christ School (Arden, N.C.) on Sunday.
No. 6 Roosevelt (Eastvale, Calif.) is the first team in the rankings to conclude its regular season, with several other schools set to follow suit in the coming week.

Kingston Flemings was overlooked in the recent McDonald’s All American game selections. The Houston-bound guard boasts averages of 20.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.8 steals per game, leading the Bears to 13 straight victories.

They aim to finish the regular season unbeaten as they participate in the Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament this weekend. The Eagles will face AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.) in the tournament opener, which also features National Top 10 No. 3 Montverde Academy, No. 4 CIA-Bella Vista (Scottsdale, Ariz.), and No. 6 Utah Prep (Hurricane, Utah).
8. Perry (Gilbert, Ariz.)

Six more games are left in the regular season before the Pumas embark on their quest for a fourth consecutive state title. Perry’s only losses have come against No. 1 Columbus and No. 2 Harvard-Westlake.

Hit the century mark for the second time this season in a 102-60 rout of Plano West (Plano, Texas), led by 19 points from senior guard Trent Pane and 18 points, seven assists, and four rebounds from senior guard Antonio Shannon.

Miami-Ohio signee Justin Kirby led the charge with a team-high 15 points in consecutive victories over the weekend, boasting an impressive shooting performance of 14 of 18 from the field.
