With the score tied in the final moments, Jalen Brunson managed a tough layup to put the Knicks ahead. Shortly after a crucial timeout, Josh Giddey assisted Gilgeous-Alexander, who expertly evaded Miles McBride before sinking a crucial shot from the deep left corner.

As the tension rose following a Knicks timeout, Donte DiVincenzo found Brunson, only for Gilgeous-Alexander to tightly defend him. Brunson attempted a desperate turnaround jumper that ultimately rattled off the rim as time expired.

Brunson’s miss concluded a dramatic fourth quarter where the Thunder fought back from a 10-point deficit, showcasing impressive shooting accuracy at 15 of 19 from the field but struggling at the free-throw line with a 3-for-8 performance.
