Here’s a look at some of the most memorable performances from the state’s best players, who led their teams to success while making their mark in high school basketball.
Chancey Andersen, Jefferson
The senior forward scored 22 points, tying her for game-high honors, and grabbed 10 rebounds, leading the Democrats to a 62-58 win against West Linn in a Class 6A state quarterfinal at the Chiles Center. She followed that performance by posting 24 points and securing 10 rebounds in a 60-48 victory over Willamette in the third-place contest.
Sara Barhoum, Clackamas
The senior guard notched 26 points, going a perfect 10 for 10 from the free-throw line, alongside four rebounds, to secure a 77-57 victory for the Cavaliers over Jefferson in a Class 6A state semifinal at the Chiles Center.
Olivia Bennett, Cascade
The junior recorded a game-high 26 points in the Cougars’ 66-47 triumph over La Grande during a Class 4A state quarterfinal at Forest Grove High School.
Taelyn Bentley, South Albany
The senior achieved a double-double for the RedHawks, contributing a team-high 17 points along with 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals in a 64-58 overtime defeat to Crater in the Class 5A state championship game at Linfield University.
Love Lei Best, Tualatin
The freshman point guard delivered a game-high 26 points, shooting 4 for 4 from beyond the arc, guiding the Timberwolves to a 63-58 triumph over Clackamas in the Class 6A state championship contest at the Chiles Center. She also scored 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting with five assists in a 65-40 semifinal victory against Willamette.
Kaylor Buse, West Linn
The sophomore contributed a double-double for the Lions, accumulating 19 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and a steal in a 62-58 loss to Jefferson in a Class 6A state quarterfinal held at the Chiles Center. She also scored 22 points during a 68-52 consolation victory over McMinnville and finished her season with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 51-42 consolation final win against Southridge.
Hadley Craig, Silverton
The senior wing posted a double-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and four steals in the Foxes’ 63-58 victory over West Albany during a Class 5A state quarterfinal at Linfield University. She also recorded 22 points and 12 rebounds in a 48-39 semifinal loss against South Albany.
Jazzy Davidson, Clackamas
The senior guard erupted for 36 points while adding 11 rebounds, four assists, and four steals in the Cavaliers’ 77-57 semifinal victory over Jefferson at the Chiles Center. Earlier, she scored 26 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, recorded five blocks, and dished out four assists in a 60-29 quarterfinal win against McMinnville.
Taylor Donaldson, South Albany
The junior delivered a game-high 35 points on an efficient 13-of-19 shooting, along with five rebounds and three steals during the RedHawks’ 59-36 victory over Springfield in a Class 5A state quarterfinal at Linfield University.
Breeci Hampton, Stayton
The sophomore guard registered a game-high 22 points, in addition to four rebounds and an assist, in the Eagles’ 59-35 victory over Baker in a Class 4A state semifinal at Forest Grove High School.
Reagan Heiken, Philomath
The sophomore had a standout game for the Warriors, amassing 25 points along with 10 rebounds and five assists in their 53-35 quarterfinal win over Crook County at Forest Grove High School.
Abrianna Lawrence, Jefferson
The senior guard tallied 22 points, tying her for game-high honors, alongside four steals, three assists, and three rebounds in the Democrats’ 62-58 win over West Linn in a Class 6A state quarterfinal at the Chiles Center.
Sara Mangan, Southridge
The junior led the Skyhawks with 23 points, six rebounds, and two assists in a 66-42 loss to Willamette during a Class 6A state quarterfinal at the Chiles Center. She also contributed 22 points in a 59-51 consolation victory over South Medford.
Ries Miadich, Tualatin
The junior wing recorded 18 points, hitting 4 out of 6 attempts from beyond the arc, in the Timberwolves’ 63-58 triumph over Clackamas in the Class 6A state championship at the Chiles Center.
Gabi Moultrie, Wilsonville
The junior guard dominated the scoring with 28 points, along with five rebounds, five steals, and two assists as the Wildcats defeated Summit 73-41 in a Class 5A state tournament consolation match at Linfield University.
Molly Rasmussen, Baker
The freshman guard contributed significantly with 21 points, nine rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and two steals to lead the Bulldogs to a 57-48 victory over Henley in a Class 4A state quarterfinal at Forest Grove High School.
Makayla Schroeder, Henley
The freshman showcased an impressive double-double for the Hornets, scoring 24 points with 17 rebounds and five assists to help secure a 53-50 win against Seaside in a Class 4A state tournament consolation game at Forest Grove High School. She also recorded 18 points and 15 rebounds in a consolation final victory against La Grande, winning 63-48.

The sophomore guard was a standout player with 30 points, five assists, and two steals during the Bulldogs’ 63-58 defeat to Silverton in a Class 5A state quarterfinal at Linfield University.
Jordyn Smith, Tualatin

She went on to score 34 points, dish out six assists and snatch eight steals in a 72-44 semifinal win over Redmond. In the state championship, she added 25 points and six steals, helping secure a 64-58 overtime victory over South Albany.
