The top four teams in the Top 25 high school basketball rankings concluded regular season play last week, shifting focus towards the coveted prize for Columbus (Miami, Fla.), Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, Calif.), Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), and Hoover (Ala.).
Calvary Christian Academy made significant strides at the Montverde Academy Invitational, where they defeated two National Top 10 rivals to enhance their profile. As a result, the Eagles climbed three positions to No. 4 this week.
The undefeated University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit) is the sole newcomer in this week’s rankings, joining St. Mary’s Prep (Orchard Lake) as the only Michigan teams to enter the Top 25 this season.
Highlighting this week’s action is a matchup between No. 11 John Marshall (Richmond, Va.) and National Top 10 No. 6 Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.). Other notable events include the Mission League Tournament featuring No. 2 Harvard-Westlake and the Chicago Public League Playoffs with No. 24 Kenwood (Chicago, Ill.).

1. Columbus (Miami, Fla.)

Closed out regular season play by avenging a December loss with a decisive 70-47 victory over Link Academy (Branson, Mo.), led by a standout performance from five-star Duke signee Cameron Boozer, who scored 24 points.

The Bears have dominated their last 15 games by a margin of 25 points or more, following a two-game losing stretch in December, including impressive scores of 123-39 and 109-20 last week.
7. Roosevelt (Eastvale, Calif.)

Five-star senior Brayden Burries excelled with 36 points and 11 rebounds while senior guard Myles Walker contributed 10 points and an impressive 13 assists with 10 steals in a commanding 96-55 win over Norco (Calif.).

Streaking to 31 consecutive victories dating back to last season, they secured another win against Carmel, ending in an 80-39 score with contributions from Millen McCartney and sophomore guard Cooper Zachary, who tallied 16 and 15 points, respectively.

20. DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.)

The Stags had a remarkable run, securing four wins across five nights during a packed schedule. Junior guard Ashton Meeks had a standout performance, scoring a career-high 35 points in a 66-55 triumph over Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney).
21. Oak Park (Kansas City, Mo.)

With nine games still left in regular season play, the Northmen are focused on achieving the program’s inaugural state championship. They currently hold a strong 6-1 record against out-of-state teams and remain undefeated against in-state rivals.

The Hawks celebrated a significant victory over Combine Academy (Lincolnton, N.C.), winning 59-53 with senior guard Julian Rivera contributing 18 points. Even without five-star senior Nate Ament, the team managed to establish a commanding 19-point lead by halftime, eventually securing the win.

The team triumphed over Mount St. Michael Academy (Bronx) with a score of 71-60, buoyed by 16 points, 12 rebounds, and five blocks from four-star junior Adonis Ratliff.
