DeMar DeRozan Aids Bulls in Outlasting Scottie Barnes and the Raptors

The visiting Chicago Bulls achieved a 116-110 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night, with DeMar DeRozan contributing 24 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

Nikola Vucevic also played a significant role, scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists.

Coby White and Patrick Williams added 23 and 12 points, respectively, while Alex Caruso and Ayo Dosunmu each contributed 10 points.

In response, Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 31 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. RJ Barrett also made his mark with 17 points and six assists.

Newcomer Bruce Brown, acquired in the recent trade, made an impact with 15 points in his Raptors debut.

Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls exited the game early in the third quarter due to an apparent ankle injury but later returned to the bench. He managed to contribute eight points during the game.

Despite only making 6 of 24 3-pointers, the Bulls outshot the Raptors with a 52.7 percent field goal rate compared to the Raptors’ 50.6 percent.

The Bulls claimed an early lead with a 38-27 score after the first quarter. Although the Raptors managed to tie the game at 50 in the second quarter, the Bulls finished the first half with a five-point lead.

Heading into the final quarter with a four-point lead, the game remained competitive with frequent lead changes. Ultimately, the Bulls secured the win with a six-point margin.

Toronto’s Jakob Poeltl was unable to participate in the game due to an ankle injury.
