Naturally, shortly after Halloween, there’s another meaningful celebration that deserves some attention—Dia de los Muertos. This year, adidas is unveiling a special edition collection dedicated to the holiday, prominently featuring a unique version of the classic Samba.

From the very start, the tongue tag offers a wealth of commemorative elements, showcasing an eye-catching Calavera character adorned with a stylish top hat and exquisite floral attire. The visible stitching outlining the forefoot and heel is complemented by the sugar skull theme, which is inherently tied to the Mexican celebration. The shoelace eyestays are designed with bone-like accents, enhancing the festive vibe, while the top two laces leave room for beautifully embroidered flowers. A classic gum sole rounds off the design, and with the emphasis on black and white, this distinctive model stays true to the iconic looks of the Samba lineage.

Set to launch this September, the adidas Samba OG “Dia de Los Muertos” will retail for $120.
