The 2024-25 high school girls basketball season has entered the playoff intensity, prompting an update to the rankings of the nation’s top teams.
Maintaining its position at No. 1 is the Montverde Academy Eagles.
However, the challengers are not relinquishing ground: Ontario Christian, now ranked second, heads into the CIF playoffs with a 12-game winning streak following its single loss to Archbishop Mitty of California in the finals of the Nike Tournament of Champions.
With just one loss as well, Bishop McNamara remains firm at the No. 3 spot.
The girls basketball rankings update will spotlight teams that are part of the state high school athletic association in their respective states, in addition to top prep schools and basketball academies nationwide.
