Projected No. 1 Pick Zaccharie Risacher Declares for NBA Draft

European standout and anticipated overall no. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher has officially entered the 2024 NBA Draft as confirmed in his interview with ESPN on Monday.
Standing at 6-foot-10, the Spanish player is currently maintaining an average of 10.4 points and 3.4 rebounds, while impressively shooting at a 39 percent rate from beyond the arc for the French league team JL Bourg.
“It’s always been my dream to get to the best league in the world,” Risacher told ESPN.
“I’ve been putting the work in for this since I was a kid. JL Bourg has given me an incredible opportunity to showcase what I can do. It’s been the perfect place to start my young career. I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to play for this organization.”
At the age of 19, Risacher is the son of former Olympian Stephane Risacher.
The draft has been set for June 26-27, with the NBA Draft Lottery slated for May 12.

If Gobert is unable to play against the reigning champions, Naz Reid, who won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year this season, may step into the starting lineup.
