Securing the top seed in the Western Conference for the first time since the 2012-13 season, the Thunder wrapped up the regular season with a five-game winning streak.

They solidified their position by holding tiebreakers against the Nuggets and in a three-way tie with other teams; Denver’s win sealed Oklahoma City’s playoff spot.

The Thunder showcased strong depth with seven players reaching double digits, including Aaron Wiggins with 14 points off the bench and Ousmane Dieng contributing 13. Additionally, rookie Chet Holmgren impressed with 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting alongside nine rebounds in just 11:32.

Having secured their playoff position, the Mavericks opted to rest all their starters except for Tim Hardaway Jr.

Brandon Williams led the Mavericks with 22 points, while Olivier-Maxence Prosper added 15 as Dallas struggled shooting a season-low 33 percent from the field.

Suns 125, Timberwolves 106

Phoenix cruised past Minnesota in Minneapolis with Bradley Beal scoring 36 points on a remarkable 14-for-21 shooting, including a perfect 6-for-6 from beyond the arc.

Devin Booker chimed in with 23 points and seven assists for the Suns, who surpassed New Orleans to claim the sixth seed in the Western Conference, avoiding the play-in tournament.

Rudy Gobert led Minnesota with 21 points and seven rebounds. Despite the Timberwolves entering the game in a three-way tie for the top record in the Western Conference, their loss on Sunday resulted in dropping to the third seed as both the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets secured the top two spots.

Knicks 120, Bulls 119 (OT)

Jalen Brunson‘s remarkable performance of 40 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists propelled New York to secure the second seed in the Eastern Conference by overcoming a fierce challenge from visiting Chicago in overtime.

Benefitting from a Milwaukee Bucks loss to the Orlando Magic, the Knicks clinched their second 50-win season in 24 years. Donte DiVincenzo added 25 points, and a crucial 3-pointer from DiVincenzo gave the Knicks a 114-112 lead with 3:13 remaining in overtime, securing the victory.

DeMar DeRozan led the charge for the Bulls with 30 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Nikola Vucevic posted a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds, while Coby White contributed 26 points to the Bulls’ efforts.

Celtics 132, Wizards 122

Boston defeated visiting Washington with a standout performance from Payton Pritchard, who notched a career-high 38 points while also dishing out 12 assists and grabbing nine rebounds.

Pritchard was exceptional, shooting 15 of 21 from the field. Svi Mykhailiuk added 26 points for the Celtics, with Neemias Queta contributing 19 points and nine rebounds.

By matching their franchise’s highest-scoring performance, the Pacers secured the sixth seed in the East and will face the Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs. Pascal Siakam added 28 points, with seven Pacers scoring in double figures.

Indiana showcased exceptional shooting accuracy, hitting 65 percent of their shots (65 of 100) and converting 19 of 36 attempts from beyond the arc (52.8 percent).

Dejounte Murray led the Hawks’ efforts with 32 points as they now prepare to face the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the play-in tournament.

Despite Klay Thompson‘s 25-point contribution, Golden State maintained their 10th place in the Western Conference after defeating visiting Utah in the regular-season finale.

The Warriors are set to face the Sacramento Kings in an elimination game on Tuesday to kick off the Western play-in event. Opting to rest key players Stephen Curry and Draymond Green ahead of the playoffs, Golden State limited Thompson to 20 minutes, where he managed to score 25 points, including hitting 6 of 12 from beyond the arc.

Gui Santos added 13 points, Lester Quinones contributed 12, Andrew Wiggins posted 19 points, and Dario Saric chipped in with 12.

Keyonte George led Utah with 21 points, while Omer Yurtseven notched a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.

Nuggets 126, Grizzlies 111

Jamal Murray tallied 21 points, while Nikola Jokic contributed 15 points and 15 rebounds as Denver secured the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference by defeating Memphis.

Denver surpassed Minnesota in the standings due to the latter’s loss against Phoenix and will face the winner of Tuesday night’s play-in game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.

The Nuggets bounced back from a disappointing defeat against San Antonio to tie their franchise’s win record set in the 2012-13 season. Supporting the effort were Christian Braun with 19 points and 10 rebounds, Aaron Gordon with 15 points, Michael Porter Jr. with 12 points, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Reggie Jackson, and Peyton Watson each adding 11.

GG Jackson‘s career-best 44 points, Jake LaRavia‘s 29 points, and Scotty Pippen Jr.‘s 15 points led the charge for the Grizzlies.

Magic 113, Bucks 88

Paolo Banchero‘s impressive 26 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists led Orlando to a dominant victory over Milwaukee, securing a playoff spot.

Franz Wagner added 25 points and three steals as the Magic clinched their first playoff berth since the 2019-20 season, securing the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. Orlando is set to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round.

The Bucks endured their eighth loss in the last 11 games, settling for the third seed in the East. Milwaukee will square off against the Indiana Pacers in the first round.

Heat 118, Raptors 103

Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro each scored 17 points as Miami comfortably defeated Toronto, who are now out of playoff contention.

With the outcome all but decided after three quarters, the Heat turned to their bench, with Jaime Jaquez Jr. finishing with 18 points, and Thomas Bryant also contributing 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite the win, the Heat settled for the play-in round as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. They are set to face the Philadelphia 76ers in the play-in round on Wednesday.

Toronto was led by Gary Trent Jr., who tallied 18 points. Toronto was missing several key players due to injuries, including Scottie Barnes (hand), RJ Barrett (knee), and Immanuel Quickley (adductor).

Charlotte, led by Nick Smith Jr.‘s 24 points, triumphed over playoff-bound Cleveland in the season finale.

A late push with a 15-2 run by Smith, Amari Bailey, and JT Thor contributed to the Hornets ending their season on a high note. Amari Bailey and JT Thor contributed 20 points each.

The Cavaliers reached a 117-110 advantage with under two minutes left, extending their lead in the final moments of the game. This marked the farewell match for Charlotte’s coach Steve Clifford, who is transitioning to a front-office role within the team.

Max Strus achieved his inaugural triple-double with 14 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who secured the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference.

They are set to begin their playoff journey against the Orlando Magic on Saturday, fielding a lineup consisting mostly of stand-in players with reduced minutes for some.

76ers 107, Nets 86

Led by Tyrese Maxey‘s impressive 26-point performance, Philadelphia maintained the lead for the majority of the game against the visiting Brooklyn team.

The Sixers wrapped up the regular season on a high note with eight consecutive victories. Despite Joel Embiid‘s absence due to a minor knee issue, the team managed to secure wins and maintain their dominance, finishing with an impressive record when he was on the court.

Cam Thomas led the Nets with 18 points, supported by rookie Noah Clowney with 16 points. Despite their efforts, Brooklyn struggled offensively, shooting at a 38.6 percent rate and missing the mark on 25 of their 34 attempts from beyond the arc.

Spurs 123, Pistons 95

Sandro Mamukelashvili led the charge with 18 points, setting the pace for a team effort with eight players scoring in double figures.

Despite facing injuries to six key players, the Spurs finished the season on a strong note, securing wins at the end of the season and clinching the 14th spot in the Western Conference.

James Wiseman displayed an outstanding performance for Detroit, recording game-highs of 21 points and 17 rebounds. The Pistons, however, faced a tough season, ending at the bottom of the league standings after a string of losses.

Lakers 124, Pelicans 108

LeBron James had a triple-double, Anthony Davis had a double-double and visiting Los Angeles dominated New Orleans.

James showcased his prowess with a triple-double, boasting 28 points, 17 assists, and 11 rebounds, while Davis contributed 30 points and 11 rebounds. The Lakers secured the 8th seed and are set to face the Pelicans in a play-in game in New Orleans.

CJ McCollum led the scoring for the Pelicans with 25 points, aided by Herbert Jones with 18 points. The returning Brandon Ingram scored 13 points after being sidelined for 12 games due to a knee injury.

Kings 121, Blazers 82

De’Aaron Fox was the standout performer with 24 points, leading Sacramento to a convincing win. Despite finishing as the 9th seed this season after a strong performance last year, Sacramento will host a play-in game against the Warriors.

Dalano Banton led the Blazers with 17 points before being ejected for a flagrant foul. He suffered a rough shooting night, going 6-for-26 from the field and missing all 15 attempts from the three-point line, setting an unwanted record in NBA history.

Rockets 116, Clippers 105

Cam Whitmore scored 21 points and Amen Thompson recorded his first career triple-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists as Houston defeated host Los Angeles.

Jabari Smith Jr. had 15 points for Houston, which won for the third time in its last four games and avoided a fourth straight losing season.

Terance Mann led the Clippers with a season-high 24 points. Both teams relied on reserve players in a game that did not have postseason implications. The Clippers trailed 105-102 with 3:09 remaining before Houston went on a 14-0 run to put the game away.
