Anthony Davis tallied 34 points and secured 23 rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers, visiting the Milwaukee Bucks, clinched a 128-124 double-overtime victory on Tuesday. They were 10 points behind with only 3:26 left in regulation.

Austin Reaves of Los Angeles accumulated 29 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists, and he sunk the decisive 3-pointer with 38.6 seconds remaining in the second overtime. D’Angelo Russell also contributed with 29 points and 12 assists for the Lakers (40-32).

Rui Hachimura wrapped up the game with 16 points and 14 rebounds as the Lakers extended their winning streak to four games while commencing a six-game road trip with a victory.

LeBron James, the star of Los Angeles, was absent due to a left ankle injury.

Giannis Antetokounmpo furnished a triple-double with 29 points, 21 rebounds, and 11 assists for the Bucks. Nevertheless, he failed to convert two crucial free throws with 24.2 seconds left in the second overtime after Reaves netted the 3-pointer that propelled Los Angeles to a 124-121 lead.

Damian Lillard delivered 27 points and eight assists, Malik Beasley added 21 points, and Bobby Portis scored 18 points alongside 13 rebounds for the Bucks, who witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak at home. Lillard’s potential game-winning layup at the close of the first overtime was blocked by Davis.

The Lakers completed a clean sweep of the series against the Bucks after securing a 123-122 victory at home on March 8.

With 8:25 remaining in regulation, the Lakers were trailing 94-75 before initiating their rally. Davis put up 11 points in the final quarter for the Lakers, who missed their initial seven shots in the fourth period. Milwaukee only managed 13 points in the fourth quarter, shooting 6-for-21 (28.6 percent).

The Bucks asserted their dominance early, leading by as much as 19 points in the opening quarter and concluding with a 32-16 advantage. At halftime, Milwaukee enjoyed a 58-42 lead.

The Lakers narrowed the gap to seven points on four occasions in the third quarter before the Bucks entered the last period with an 88-74 lead.

A 16-2 surge by the Lakers in the fourth quarter reduced the deficit to 96-91 with 4:35 on the clock.

Following a timeout by the Bucks, Milwaukee launched a 5-0 spurt, culminated by a 3-pointer from Khris Middleton, to claim a 101-91 lead with 3:26 remaining. Los Angeles concluded their 10-0 run at the end of regulation on two free throws from Taurean Prince with 43.9 seconds left.
