De’Aaron Fox registered the highest score with 23 points, while Kevin Huerter secured the lead for Sacramento late in the fourth quarter, resulting in a 103-94 victory over the short-handed Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.

For the Kings, Domantas Sabonis grabbed a game-high 26 rebounds along with 20 points. They outperformed the Grizzlies with a shooting percentage of 51.2 compared to 37.5 and also dominated with 51 rebounds against the opponents’ 37.

Huerter contributed 17 points, Barnes added 12, and Lyles scored 10, all contributing to the Kings’ win in the first three games of a seven-game trip.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 22 points, while David Roddy secured a team-high of 10 rebounds and scored nine points.

Despite the Grizzlies leading by 15 points at one stage, Jackson’s floater put them at 92-88 with 4:43 remaining, yet their struggles in shooting resulted in the Kings finishing with a 15-2 run, obtaining their fourth consecutive win.

Fox initiated the game-ending run with a short jumper, followed by Huerter’s third successful 3-pointer, giving the Kings a lead that they maintained till the end. Fox added two more field goals, and Lyles made an impactful 3-pointer, setting the Kings at a 100-94 lead with 2:01 left on the clock.

Sabonis contributed with a dunk, and Fox split two free throws, sealing the Grizzlies’ second consecutive defeat after their three-game winning streak.

Santi Aldama scored 16 points, Scottie Pippen Jr. and GG Jackson scored 12 each, and Xavier Tillman and Matthew Hurt added 10 points each for Memphis.

Ja Morant (shoulder), Marcus Smart (finger), and Desmond Bane (ankle) were absent for yet another game. The Grizzlies outscored the Kings 39-33 from beyond the arc.
